Each apartment is fully equipped with a fitted kitchen/living area complete with a washing machine, fire alarms, fridge freezer, crockery and cutlery, microwave, iron/ironing board, kettle, toaster, hob and oven.
Cleaning utensils such as mop and bucket, brush, dustpan and brush and hoover are also provided.
Abbeyville provides 2 payment options
Payment Schedule 1: 3 payments are made in September, November, and January

A 24 hour CCTV security system is in operation on the complex.
Abbeyville has a residential warden who can be contacted with any issues you may have during the evening/weekends.
Additional nightly security is also in operation on requirement.
Parking is available but is limited. Parking will be issued on a lottery basis and is subject to a €400 booking fee for the full academic year.
Yes internet is provided free of charge. We provide wired internet access to each apartment. Each Bedroom has its own broadband connection point. Please note you will require an Ethernet cable to connect. No routers/WiFi extenders are permitted on the premises.
Guests are allowed to stay overnight; however, we require that you sign them in at reception and also inform your housemates out of courtesy. Guests are welcome but restricted to one night per week.
The majority of residents at Abbeyville are students of MTU. However, we also have a number of residents from UCC, Cork College of Commerce, St. Johns Central College and Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa.
Yes, we have dedicated wheelchair accessible rooms available.
The 205 route is the most frequently used service to the area. This route operates to and from the city centre.
205 (MTU – St. Patricks Street – Kent Station)
Pickup from the City centre is available beside Carrolls Irish Gifts store on Patrick Street, and collection is every 15 minutes (approx)
Keys are available for collection from reception during office hours only.
Please contact reception with any maintenance issues you may have stating your name, room number and issue. We will organise our maintenance staff to deal with any issues you may have.

In the event that you lose your key please report to the office immediately. A €25 charge is required to issue a replacement key.
On completion of the full academic year security deposits are refunded in July.
